At General Assembly in 2018, Presbyterians for Earth Care focused on plastic pollution as the theme for our booth in the Exhibit Hall. The topic was so popular that we are sharing the following resources with you and your friends.
- The Last Plastic Straw campaign encourages restaurants to serve straws only upon request. You can hand a small card to servers who provide straws without asking, or leave with your check. Download a sheet of cards to print and cut.
- Facts about plastic pollution are alarming and can be inspiring. Read ten of them.
- Calculate your plastic consumption and make a plan to reduce what you can.
- If you or someone you know regularly purchases water in plastic bottles, download and read our How to Overcome the Bottled Water Habit brochure.
