Human warming of the planet has resulted in an increase in severe hurricanes and flooding events. Now this is happening in places previously outside where hurricanes have historically struck. The result has impacted people unprepared for severe weather, raised questions on where and how to build back, and prods us to keep refining where faith-based organizations play a role in recovery and preparedness.
